A little surprise!!

Posted 22 Sep 2015 on Hotels
Wasn't expecting much but the place is a hidden gem. Had to stop here overnight for work so I just needed a bed. There is not much around to walk to but the room was fantastic, clean and the bathrooms were up to date and clean. My room was facing the back so I had no noise some of the other people commented on. Had a meal there and this was ok too. If you have a trailer or truck, this is a great place as there is a huge car park out the back with plenty of room. You could turn a B double out the back.

Nice cheap motel

Nice motel, quite comfortable and even though it's on a main road you don't notice the noise at all cheap rates and nice clean rooms.

Comfortable & clean

Comfortable, clean rooms. A little noisy, as it is situated next to the highway/border. It would be nice to have vegetarian meals available in the bistro.

Staff member tried to charge me $110 when I'd already paid less online through wotif. Then took 15 mins to re-check that I'd paid, even though I'd showed her the transaction receipt on my phone. Finally got the key & then ordered dinner. The food was delicious, but served with no cutlery. The bed was hard & you could feel the springs. The photos on wotif didn't resemble anything like the room that I stayed in and after 9 hours in the car with 2 young kids, I was pretty disappointed with the level of service & quality of the room. 2.5 to 3 stars maximum rating. Not recommended if you want good service & a decent sleep.

Great value

Pros: Great value - comfortable room and great shower.
Cons: New beds.
Pleasantly surprised - the motel was quiet and well equipped. We appreciated the bistro near by so that we could relax after a long drive.

Service was friendly at check in, room was clean and comfortable. Probably cheapest hotel room in Mildura for that night but very happy with stay.

Pros: Close to Mildura and amenities Good price for the room Large rooms

2 Night stay. Pleasing for the price. The rooms are older but have new bench tops and a TV. Comfortable for a short budget stay.
