If we could give Martin a higher rating we would. Absolutely wonderful in all aspects, also very accomidating to our family. We will be back again!

Posted 15 Nov 2018 on HotelsOur room was 100€ for the night but given the condition of the room, cracks in the walls and ceiling, screw holes in the wall where something had been taken down, mouldy shower head, dirt and mould around the shower screen door, it really was over priced. I also got little sleep as the pillow on my bed was so thin that even after folding it four times it wasn't as thick as the duvet, and there were no other pillows in the room.

Wir bedauern sehr das Sie nicht zufrieden waren. Risse in der Wand sind aber normal auch bei Neubauten. Wir werden das aber 2019 neu streichen auch die Stelle wo der alte TV an der Wand war. Wegen dem Schmutz werden wir die Putzfrauen befragen. Wir geben Ihnen auch gerne weitere Kopfkissen - einfach kurz fragen.

Charming, but further out than expected

Pros: The setting had a really pretty view.
Cons: No reception desk. When we arrived we walked through a dark restaurant to find someone to check in. It felt like we were intruding.
This location was beautiful. However, the location (not sure if it's just Booking.com or otherwise) is much further from Wurzburg. It is actually 50 km not 9 km from the City, but it was a nice drive for the most part. We wish there would have been coffee or tea in our room.

Cute, country stay

Pros: Great staff and wonderful food.
Location: Beautiful church near by. Pretty short drive to many sites including Rothenburg.
We loved how quiet it was here. You could here the cuckoo birds nearby. The restaurant was great and the staff was very helpful. There is a beautiful church nearby as well as many sites. Staff is very helpful in suggesting sites that you may want to see. I would defiantly stay here again.

Quiet forest retreat
Posted 19 Feb 2015 on HotelsA brief overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Alps to go skiing. Just a few km off the motorway from Wurzburg to Nurnberg. A beautiful location in the Steigerwald (forest) popular with walkers ad families. Would love to go back. Simple accommodation, not luxurious, but comfortable and clean. Full of character.
