The receptionist wasnt teally friendly( she did say that she was a junior and wasnt sure of anything) the bar and resturant sevice was excellent

Nice room, other patrons too noisy.
Posted 19 Apr 2024 on HotelsRoom was nice and large enough, although the shower needs to be cleaned better. Other guests talking in their rooms with the doors open meant I couldn't sleep as it was so noisy. I didn't obtain my 10% discount when ordering food and a drink, even though I had my room key in my hand, as it obviously wasn't noticeable to the staff member serving me.

It was a lovely place to stay, far enough from city centre to not be super busy at late hours.

The room was clean and tidy and as expected in terms of functionality. Whilst this is not a criticism of the hotel per se I did find it quite noisy, as despite reminders during check in, and on signs and other information provided, other guests failed to refrain from loud conversations in the corridor. The noise certainly travels.
