Loved the area. Cabins were close to the water. Beautiful area to go for a walk. Clean, friendly. We will be back!

Peaceful, clean and friendly
Posted 5 May 2024 on HotelsWe stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful.
Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One was empty, the other wouldn't stay lit.
We saw chickens roaming nearby. Watched the sunset on the dock. A very peaceful place!

A small warning
Posted 3 Mar 2024 on HotelsEverything about this place was beautiful. Friendly staff, accommodating, gorgeous cabins and location. Only problem: after being there for a few hours, my partner had found a couple bed bugs in the bed in the main bedroom. Not a big deal since we both lived nearby and just ended up coming home but definitely put a damper on our weekend trip.
