Wonderful property, but owner didn’t know any English so he avoided contact with us which made us feel unwelcomed. The scenery surrounding the hotel will take your breath away. We would come back here because of that.

Family run hotel that provide exceptional service with a smile. The restaurant is very good and all working there are warm, friendly and helpful.

The drive to this hotel was interesting. It’s up on the mountain so expect your typical mountain drive with lots of twists and turns and switchbacks. Once you reach the hotel the views are spectacular. The restaurant food is superb. The owners and staff are so very friendly and aim to please you. They go above and beyond.

Pros: It had great facilities and we were very impressed by the swimming pool and sauna.
Location: It had wonderful mountain views.
We were not there for long but could have stayed a week

Distance from nearest town WRONG
Posted 24 Jan 2012 on HotelsIWRONGING put into search "near city center" it's aid 3.2kms. Turned out it was 17.5 Kim's up a mountain on a ski hill! This was useless to me and my children as my wife had just broken her leg and we wanted to be near Visp hospital this was such an inconvenience and we nearly got snowed in. Not sure if this is the hotels fault or hotels.com but either way dont take the descriptions as gospel.
