5 night stay was rough. We arrived from the airport and found our way to the hotel. Upon checking in, we received our key from the woman behind the counter and she showed us to our room in a separate building on the property. Entering the room, we noticed the obvious insect problem. There were ants crawling near our bed and all over the floor along with a spider on the wall. We went to check out the bathroom, and noticed mold in the corner of the wall and on the ceiling which caused a strong odor. The bathtub was small and it was impossible to shower in because of the location of the shower head. We approached the front desk about laundry needs and vending machines and were informed that they did not have them as advertised. Nor do they offer a transportation shuttle to airport as advertised.
Pros: Near public transportation. Felt safe walking around and at the property. Near a few decent places to eat. The twin beds were comfortable and the blankets were decent.
Cons: We found ants, spiders, beetles, and gnats in our room. Woke up to spiders crawling on the back of our necks. Mold. Requesting more towels was difficult. The pillows were flat. The tub is not suitable for standing, sitting, and showering. Listed under amenities on the website the following was found to be untrue: NO in room refrigerator, NO on site laundry, rooms are NOT soundproof, NO vending machine, NO daily housekeeping in the rooms, and NO shuttle assistance as advertised.
