Budget hostel in poor condition
Posted 9 Feb 2020 on HotelsThis place does not exist anymore, it is part of the little bucharest hostel, which caused a lot of confusion at the time of check in. The bathrooms were not in working condition (2 of 3 of the showers were broken) also on the second night one of the supporting planks of the bed gave way. However the location is very convenient and the staff is friendly.

Upon check in we had to wait over and hour after the time we were told. The showers were terrible. The shower head did not fit to the wall so it was pointless.
The beds were very uncomfortable and on two occasions the slats of the bunks moved so the mattress fell through. The floor was disgusting and the beds were not clean. We rented towels which we had to just leave because they were dirty and we weren’t offered a refund or to swap them.
Walking back to the property at night was not nice as there is a strip club located next door and very seedy club promoters hassle you to go in. The rooms are not soundproofed so any peace and quiet before 7am isn’t possible. I would much rather pay more to stay somewhere that actually gives you a decent nights sleep.

Location is perfect. Basic comfortable no frills hostel. No elevators and check in is on the 3F.

disappointed, much room for improvement
Posted 7 Jul 2018 on OrbitzThe place seemed okay as far as safety, but there was much that could’ve made this experience better. At around 7am the hotel staff at the front desk was talking very loud, it woke me and my roommates up. The bathroom was scary, unclean, and dark. The pillow and blankets were scary and seemed unclean. It would do the hostel good to have more than one mirror in the whole place, if there was a mirror in the room it would be very very helpful. I would compare this experience like going to camp when I was younger.

Posted 22 Jan 2018 on Hotelsstaff is incredibly flexible. everything works. made very good use of the kitchen. wifi available on every floor. and that glass of wine really helped when it was below-freezing outside! :D an a+ place to stay!
