The Dann Carlton is without doubt the best hotel in Bucaramanga. I've been staying there with my family in every trip for over 20 years and it never disappoints. The facilities are beautiful, the staff and service are great, the food, especially the breakfast by the pool is delicious. Additionally, the area where the hotel is located is very walkable and safe, surrounded by great restaurants, medical services, and shopping.

This is not a very vacation friendly property. They are all about collecting money. If your family or friends from the area visit they must be out of your room by 6:00pm or you will be charged about $20 US and they must be out of the room by 10PM even if you pay. This is ridiculous in my opinion. They also charge them to use the pool for about $20US. Going to Colombia to visit friends and family, this is not your hotel.
