This hotel had no reception for checking in and hung your key card on the door from a book in the lobby you and anyone else who got in off the street could check. The window lock was broken, staff on the phone never followed up.
Definitely would not recommend staying here

Avoid at all costs.
Posted 1 Jan 2024 on HotelsAvoid! We arrived to the hotel at 10pm due to delayed eurotunnel. Having informed the hotel by email we were delayed. Arrived to a locked front door, even thou there is meant to be a host until 11pm. The intercom at the front door just rang unanswered. I rang the hotel number directly no one answered. We stood there for hours no way in and no one answering the phone. Rang hotels.com they tried contacting the hotel no response. Avoid this hotel.

No staff in the hotel when we checked in. Check in by intercom. No lift, had to carry cases to second floor. Stairways and corridors under refurbishment and stank of paint. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Not pleasant staying in a hotel where haven’t seen any staff. Only staying 1 night and was late or would have insisted on being moved.

It was odd that no staff were around at the time of check in just a name in a book and a room number. The card for your room was on your door handle. It was easy enough clean and quiet. A bit out of the way. Nice stay
