The beds were soft the room was very clean my only issue was the vehicles that pulled up with the booming music they didn't even.

Lloyds is an amazing place, beautiful river view, shared back porch w picnic tables near the river. Solid operators who treat you like family. Highly recommend.

Lloyd's On the River is an older property. Room was clean, Bed was comfortable, and everything in the room worked as it should. Lacking was a shower Curtain, and a noisy dog next door with little insolation between the rooms. The closest restaurant is in Byson City or Cherokee. Yes, I would stay again as it is rated by me as GOOD overall.

The amenities were not as advertised. No breakfast or laundry. The property is older and the remodel has some issues. My main complaint is the doors. The front door has been jimmied so many times I am surprised it latches, much less locks. I had to lift and push to get the porch door to lock. I LOVED the rockers on the back porch beside the river. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great.

Our neighbors did not realize that they were in a hotel!

This is probably a nice hotel, but in my eyes will never be more then a 2 Starr motel. It's very small, locks on doors anyone could break in, bright lighting next to windows, light up the room at night. and the light on the inside is a bright car light hanging on the wall. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I found the manager and overall value worthwhile. Not for everyone. Rooms a bit outdated and property has seen better days, but it has a certain magic about it. If you know, you know.

The photos they show while booking are nowhere near what the actual property is. The picture shows a nicely remodeled room but the room that I received was poorly maintained and things were broken. The only plus the stay was it was only for overnight.
