I would recommend this hotel for the price but there are some flaws. It is very dated and does not look fresh. The rooms are better than the lobby. My check in was not the smoothest but not why I would give this hotel bad marks. My disappointment lies completely with the bad service, information and horrible attitude I got from the concierge. I don't know his name but he was completely incompetent, did not know the city at all and even gave me wrong information. He did not even kn ow the museums would be closed on a national holiday. That combined with his poor attitude every time I went to him for directions around town. Breakfast was very nice but if you don't go early you will have to wait for a table. The lounge was small, not alot of atmosphere. The food was good but expensive. Location is in the shopping area. About a 30 minute walk to the main historical area. I am sure the hotel had more glamour in its day but now seems warn and commercial.

We like the welcoming gifts for the kids. The junior suite is spacious for a family of 4.

Wonderful hotel, shopping and nice restaurants all around. A tram station out front. Great staff 10/10

The hotel is huge but need renovation it’s in great location and staff was cooperative.

There was no hot water during my stay, for a 5 star hotel that is not good enough!

Overall, the hotel is a very nice hotel that kept its old charm. Breakfast and dinner was amazingly delicious. Our room was big, clean (would recommend changing the carpet thought). Overall, would go back to it if we go back to Brussels.
