"I booked this on its proximity to the Christmas market. Thecheck in is through the bistro and the staff could not have been more helpful. They even carried our bags to the lift. "This is a beautiful and well appointed property. I loved the area we were in, but I especially loved the fireplace in our room. It was very cold our first day in Brugges and the fireplace was wonderful to come home to. Our room and bed were large -- and beautiful large windows. "What a beautiful property to visit Bruges! It was so quiet and secluded but near all the sights. Our room was so spacious and had a balcony that we enjoyed tea on in afternoon. The bathroom and bedroom was luxurious! Immanuel was a fantastic host and the breakfast was so delicious and fresh. He even sat down with us and the map to help us find the places we were interested in. Highly recommend "

"Great location, it’s a 15 min walk to old central Bruges. The room is a little small, but comfortable, although some nicer pillows would be good. Be aware the walk up is steep and narrow, like so many European rooms. The breakfast part is a little pricey but nice, I think if you book it in advance you can save a few$. The parking is close, but it’s a tight fit in the garage for anything small suv size or bigger. Overall a great stay."

"Always like to stop here. Very clean, kind stuff, amazing breakfast. But will never book again the budget room in the hot summer. It is impossible to sleep as it is very warm and the ventilator does not help. Would be nice to have air-conditioning. Elegant stay

"This is an absolutely beautiful hotel right in the center of Bruges. Beautifully appointed and decorated, the rooms were extremely comfortable and I appreciated all the little touches like the L’Occitan toiletries and the coffee maker. I had mentioned that this was a birthday trip for me, and they not only accommodated my request for a room with a view over the canal, but also had a little treat waiting for me. We enjoyed an evening drink in the bar, and the helpful front desk staff arranged a lovely massage in the spa area. For some reason, I didn’t book breakfast with my room rate, which was a mistake. We stopped down one morning and it was delicious. "
