Breakfast tables too close together- ( tables for two) configuration meant it was difficult even for slim people to sit down without bumping into the adjacent persons chair. Also my telephoned dinner reservation had not been noted at reception on checking in but it didn’t in this instance cause any problem . Very nice food. Nice cosy hotel and good facilities so will return for a break.

The Hotel looks lovely from the outside. Our room was dated and disappointing.

Wonderful, friendly staff who couldn't do enough to make my husband's birthday visit soecial. An amazing and unique hotel in stunning surroundings. Would definitely revisit!

Rude staff, dated interiors, dirty bathrooms. We paid for our breakfast upfront and then this was also charged on our room and the receptionist was extremely argumentative with us as we did not want to pay for this again. Double charged us for our room. The list goes on..we stayed with a large group of people for 2 nights and the staff were very rude to us throughout the whole stay. Absolutely would not plan to stay here again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. You would get better service at a Travelodge or Premier Inn down the road.

I am so sorry to hear of your experience . I can honestly say no-one has ever quoted the staff as being unfriendly throughout their stay and throughout the hotel. I am sorry for the confusion with your breakfast charges. Most bookings on Expedia are for Room only so this surprises me . I would be interested to hear which room you stayed in and the date to check back with housekeeping. regards Dale
