The staff were awesome. The room and motel were fine just a little dated but priced accordingly. I was able to walk to a few places for meals. Pool was nice to have available. I would stay again as i don’t go to the Oregon coast for the room, bed was clean and comfy shower had hot water linens were clean and plentiful. Again - staff were really great.

Simple good clean motel. Pool is heated as much as an outdoor Oregon coast pool can be.

The check-in was efficient and informative. I never saw any staff after check in. The room was clean and spartan. Very utilitarian and was a good fit for coming in and going out without spending time in the room.

Booked two nights. Room 314. Had to leave in the middle of the night the second night because of bedbugs. Ended up in urgent care 2 days later due to strong allergic response to the over 40 bites on my body. Called horel and apology was made but no offer of reimbursement. I was traumatized by the experience and incurred a lot of extra cause to treat the bites, and clean my clothing and luggage. A year after my stay, I saw a Yelp review from a guest who also had a bad experience with same room. Obviously the hotel has not addressed the problem. Expedia should disassociate from this place.

Sorry about your perceived bug experience. We actually did have 2 different people come out and inspect the bed both from different exterminators and both parties agreed there were absolutely no bed bugs. The room was and bed were treated anyway as a precaution. You may want to blame another hotel you may have stayed at during your trip because it wasnt with us. Im sorry for you experience. We have had no other complaints about 314.

Location perfect to hike trails and enjoy the beaches of Brookings, Oregon. The staff helpful and wonderful.! Also close to Restaurants, Stores and bars. Take a taxie if drinking! Taxis drivers very helpful on great Restaurants for eating out. Wonderful people and great food.

Buildings in poor repair, no microwave in room ( one microwave for entire complex, in the office, only available when lobby open), hot tub inop, doors to pool inop, room door sticks, one hanger, poor lighting. I'll not be back.

The place was clean and quiet. The one down side was the woman at the counter, most unfriendly person ever, she definitely does not like her job and dont want to be there. Wanted to check in 45 minutes earlyand was told they didnt have one room unkess i upgraded and paid more money. After so many hours in the jeep i didnt want to wait. I will not stay there again unless staff changes happen.

There were ants in my room. No maid service done for second night there and they advertise a hot tub but they have no hot tub.
