The room was fantastic and we slept incredibly well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great facilities and able to use the pub for food and drink too . Easy access to the city and we also went for a run to the Clifton Downs - all great. We had a great stay and will be back - great value for money.

Great rooms, easy access in the day and out of hours. Very friendly staff. I would say quite expensive though, you pay less in the city centre.

Rooms above a really nice pub. Staff is incredibly kind and professional. Room clean and full of everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended

The staff were very friendly but it was unclear that the rooms were above a pub. Check in was a little confusing to find and access to the rooms through the pub was closed off after hours. If the pub was closed you had to enter through the fire escape. There were no staff after hours in case anything happened. The bed was two twins pushed together so for two people it was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the pub atmosphere on a Friday/Saturday night was fun with live music. Overall, the Wellington was enjoyable as a pub but not as comfortable for a weekend stay.

We'll speak to expedia regarding your comment about not being aware we are also a pub, and if you do choose to stay with us again please feel free to request another room at the point of booking to avoid our rooms that also function as twins. (I would recommend room 6 or 8 as these are top floor rooms and furthest away from the hubbub of the pub).Many thanksThe wellington Team
