Great buffet breakfast, lovely room, enjoyed the pool and how close it was to the main shopping area, casino and river (within a 15 minute walk). Having the train station below the hotel made travelling to other areas so easy especially with the cheap fares.

No pen, no paper,no minibar, no room service menu, no spa menu. The room seemed to have been emptied of amenities. Otherwise as noce as any sofitel.

We stayed in a King Suite with our two small children, when checking in we asked if the pull out couch bed would be made up, which i was told it already had been. When we arrived at the room we found it wasn’t. I called guest services to advise them. We went out and advised them at reception that now would be a good time to do it… long storey short it took over 5 phone calls and 6 hours to get the bed sorted… two very tired little boys as it was well past their bed time… not impressed and will not be returning, should never have booked, will definitely stick with the Hilton..

The hotel is a bit dated but clean and the staff made all the difference. The concierge, a lady named Riennye was absolutely amazing and helpful, giving us excellent recommendations on where to go out to eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brisbane.

This hotel looks tired. Not what we expected for a five star hotel.

Staff responded quickly when we needed help with a few minor issues. Excellent breakfast buffet and good restaurants and other amenities within walking distance.
