It was not a good experience. It was advertised as a 4 star accommodation but I would not rate it more than 2.5 stars. The whole unit we had needs to be refurbished. The stove was disgusting, dirty and the hot plates full of rust. Everything was old.

We were a bit disappointed. Being "hotel apartments" we expected an apartment with a kitchenette, etc. However there was nothing, not even a toaster and microwave that you get in most motels, only a kettle. There was no breakfast available during the weekend other than a breakfast pack available from reception, and with no utensils it made it difficult to prepare our own.
On the plus side there was a laundry with a washer and dryer just outside the room entrance. The room was large and comfortable enough, although the bathroom was a bit dated and needs renovation, and the water went all over the floor when we had a shower. The room was serviced daily, which was good. It was also set up for people with mobility problems, which was helpful for my wife.
Although close to a major motorway, the room was reasonably quiet and the surrounds were pleasant. It is just across the road from the Mt Ommaney shopping centre so easy to walk across to the shops, supermarkets, etc. to get things.

Hi Lee, thank you for your feedback. At Mount Ommaney hotel apartments. we have 'hotel' style rooms and 'apartment' style rooms. the room you booked was a Standard motel room - the room you stayed in was our only one that is accessible. the rest have the bathrooms set up differently. We do also have 'Superior' rooms which have been renovated and refurbished. if there is anything I can assist further please do not hesitate to contact us.

Most ordinary room and just disappointing considering city rates for a suburban room. Would not recommend now stay again.

We’ve been to Mount Ommaney apartments previously but with this visit we saw multiple improvements.
The gardens etc look well maintained.
While there are ‘original’ aspects to the rooms, there are also updates.
Look forward to our next visit.
