"The villa was beautiful and spacious! Only one thing the hot water wasn't working and maybe they can add a safety bar for when stepping up or out of the tub/shower because it's a high step. The host was wonderful and went out of her way to make us feel like home."

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"

"This hotel was an amazing experience for our honeymoon and first time in Costa Rica! Staff is very nice and always available to assist. The grounds are well kept and gorgeous. "The walking trails around the property were good. Lot of vegetation/greenery. The view from the dining area was excellent. Staff were courteous and friendly. Beds were not that comfortable could use updated beds in the room. Transportation to and from the resort is either expensive or not available to go see some places. Breakfast (included) was great."

"This place is cozy and beautiful. If you want to be surrounded by warm people and lush gardens, this is the place. The water feature with gold fish on the back patio is like a small meditation retreat. A lot of love when went into building this little gem."

"We only stayed one night. Check-in was simple and easy, The staff were all very friendly. The property is gorgeous and unique. Weather was really rainy and wet, so we didn't get to explore too much around the outside of the property. Our room was exactly as described and quiet, however, the walls are somewhat thin and you can hear other guests but not in a horrible way. It's more like a comfortable home rather than a hotel. The dining room was lovely, dinner was nice and the included breakfast was delicious. Delicious! It's a really neat area and we left the next morning to go straight to the volcano so everything was convenient and scenic."

"This lovely family run vintage hotel is just minutes from the airport by taxi. The staff are super friendly and helpful, eager to provide any service they can. It is like staying with friends. Don’t expect air con, you won’t need it anyway, do expect a delightful breakfast, delicious coffee, comfortable beds, and smiles and courtesy from everyone who works there."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The privacy, fence and security was incredible. We enjoyed the bar and dinner at night breakfast. In the morning, the staff was friendly and amazing Oscar and Thomas. Went above and beyond to make our stay incredible.Would definitely stay here again"

"My stay at Xandari was beyond my expectations. I come from a very loud city where quietness does not exist . Being here made me feel at peace. The staff is super kind and helpful. Karla and Daniel always went out of their ways to provide my fiancé and I as much assistance as they can. They always went above and beyond. The restaurant and staff always provided kind and helpful service. They made our stay very relaxing and pleasant. Thank you to all of Xandari team. I will definitely stay here again. "
