We loved that this boutique hotel was a former manor house from the 1500’s in the medieval hilltop town of Briones surrounded by vineyards. It was beautifully restored and renovated to blend the old with the modern
The courtyard built against the town wall is charming and relaxing. Some of the historic features include the old wine cellar, now the Calado restaurant. The breakfast buffet was a work of art with a wonderful array of choices including different daily pastries. Dinner at the Allegar Restaurant was excellent with food and wine selection and beautifully prepared.
We had a bottle of wine on the upper-level terrace overlooking the vineyards and enjoyed a memorable sunset.

Amazing property. Beautifully renovated. Very quiet and relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Onsite Michelin recommended restaurant. A cave restaurant opens only for lunch.

Beautifully renovated historic building, blending the old with new. Rooms a little dark and would have liked a bath. Restaurant staff for dinner and breakfast were excellent as was the food. Reception provided great advice and booked in a tour of the local Bodegas for us. Only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and bar service was slow.

Excellent location , great dining options nearby . Breakfast was amazing . Rooms are clean with a Bea vineyard view. Definitely recommend
