Cheapest hotel in Brighton - tolerable
Posted 19 Jan 2024 on HotelsThe cheapest room to stay in brighton that is not a hostel for a reason. Very small, old-style furnishing, room heating can’t be controlled, it comes and goes for hours if not days at a time. For the cheapest rooms, bathroom is not private.
However, clean, service is ok, and security locks all work well. Internet is solid for everyday use, not highspeed. Also 3 minute walk to the beach, and a local co op right outside.
I would suggest innit saltwater which is another budget hotel nearby, it strikes a good balance between low cost and cosiness with a much more modern and stylish feel

Room looks much better in the photos than it does in person, my room hadn’t been cleaned at 3pm when I turned up to check in. I had my door knocked on dead on 11am to make sure I was leaving (not a problem but unnecessary). Not bad for somewhere to stay after a day of drinking but not somewhere to take the girlfriend for a romantic weekend

Catfishing rooms
Posted 1 Dec 2023 on HotelsWe arrived at the hotel confused on how to get in, you have to call a number on the side of the hotel to get checked in, The man who showed us in didn’t seem very welcoming at first but livened up after a few days of bumping into him and asking questions, be prepared for dodgy windows and bad shower pressure, it’s a good hotel for a short stay although the rooms look different online
