Nice room, please remember that king size beds in the UK, are only queen sized beds in the US

Charming Somerset retreat
Posted 2 Aug 2024 on HotelsIt really doesn't get any better than The Bower Inn. Nestled on the edge of the Somerset Levels near Bridgwater, this stunning 18th-century pub, restaurant, and hotel is a true delight. As part of the Butcombe Brewery family, The Bower Inn offers a charming blend of history and modern comfort.
From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by warm and welcoming staff, making you feel right at home. The inn features 16 beautifully individual hotel rooms, each exuding character and charm. With easy access to the M5, it's the perfect spot whether you're exploring the area for pleasure or passing through on business.
The Bower Inn excels in delivering value for money. I booked my stay for less than £130 through @Hotels.com. ,which is a steal considering the quality of the accommodation. The rooms are cosy and well-appointed, ensuring a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights of The Bower Inn is its food. The restaurant serves stunning seasonal dishes that showcase the best of local produce. The selection of cask ales, craft beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails is excellent, catering to every taste. The English breakfast is a particular treat, setting you up perfectly for the day ahead.
Set in the rural part of Bridgwater, The Bower Inn offers a peaceful retreat with picturesque surroundings. It's one of my favourite places to stay for both its charm and value for money. While it's officially rated as a 4-star accommodation, I would happily rate it 4.5. @hiddengemsUK.com

Room ok. Pillows not great. Food looked better on the picture's. Had a burger what was warmed up. Very dry and very disappointing. Stayed in room 5. Bathroom door catches on toilet doesn't open in fully. Would not stay here again.
