This historic, family run hotel is located in a refurbished heritage building, formerly the railwayman's barracks. The venue is perfect for those who wish to be walking distance from the main street, and is even closer to the river which is suitable for walking and swimming. The owner, Jeff, takes pride in the hotel he established and is a friendly source of knowledge on the area and the best places to go (try the pub he recommends for dinner as well as the 'Cidery' especially for Friday happy hour). Otherwise, Bridgetown is a beautiful town - nestled amongst hills - on the banks of the Blackwood River. Farmland and bushland extends in every direction and it provides excellent access to Margaret River, Nannup, Bunbury, Manjimup, Boyup Brook and Donnybrook. A perfect place to visit in all seasons.
