Pros: Nice lounge area, good breakfast. Neutral: Room was okay. Starting to become outdated but it was fine. Cons: $75 pet fee for one night, one small dog. Bathroom was cramped. Constant high-pitched noise coming through the ceiling in the room - had to blast a sound machine to drown out the noise. Hot tub was cold, and when we asked for the heat to be turned on we were told the maintenance man would come. He never did. Pool was also cold - no reason for an indoor pool at a large hotel to not be at least a little bit heated. It was difficult to find a table to sit at for breakfast and we had to eat on a dirty table. One of the elevators was out of service and the other was slow and rickety. For well over $200 for one night, I'd expect better.

Check-in starts at 4 pm but a room was not ready at 4:15 pm and we had to wait for a while to check-in. The pool was packed and no towels around 5-6 pm.

Despite being a bit under construction this hotel is one of my favorites in Colo Springs. The bar and breakfast area are tremendous and the service from the staff is awesome.

This location needs a lot of help. I understand a remodel is coming soon, but the ceiling was literally falling (plaster was on the floor with water around, several buckets around). Elevator buttons do not work well, carpet is torn and needs replacing. Our room itself had a non working phone, a non working light, frayed carpet and an exterior window that had a crack going from top to bottom which was covered in blue tape. However, we slept well and the room seemed clean. Breakfast staff was great and breakfast was good.
