"Lovely hotel, nice furnishings, quick check in, well located. Welcome relief after travelling and loved the Nespresso machine in the room. Only downside was we were behind reception, next to the carpark, bar and stairs. So some disturbance from noise and not able to leave the window open so the room was warm. "A very nice traditional hotel. Rooms were clean and nice size. There is limited parking in front of hotel and parking on the adjacent street. Staff were courteous and attentive to service. A Kolin resident told me we were staying in the best hotel in Kolin. We were very satisifed with everything. Breakfast, included, was well appointed. Internet WIFI in the room worked perfect."

"I stay in hotels at least 100 days year, all over US and Europe. The hotel is a great building with tons of character and the location is great to visit this unique town including the bone church. However, check-in was very difficult. We arrived at 4 pm. There was no answer at the door. We had an email promising a second email with further check-in instructions. The second email never came. "The room was massive and comfortable, clearly all recently decorated. The staff were friendly. However, the shower was terrible. There was no curtain or cubicle, just a hose from the bath taps. The shower head was mouldy and brittle and the water ran brown for several minutes upon first use. Breakfast wasn’t great. I would stay there again though, as it was good location and otherwise nice, just check the shower as soon as you get to the room."
