"Beautiful clean property in a good location. Beautiful roll top bath and bathroom. Unfortunately toiletries on the wall were not in easy reach while in bath. No hairdryer in room but I would imagine if we’d contacted reception they would have provided one. Not ideal. Just a few little niggles but otherwise a lovely place to stay and great breakfast. "

"We stayed one night so I could be at the hospital for an op at 7.00am. When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...

"The hotel is affordable and very close to the city centre. Room had a hairdryer built in, very comfy bed sheet plenty of choices for seating in the room. TV was a lil small for viewing from the bed and the toilet paper wasn't the greatest, also wish there was an alternative option to a bar of soap?
