Our host Oreste was very helpful and friendly. The staff at this hotel spoke English and went above and beyond to help us. They even provided excellent Gluten free rolls for my breakfast each morning when I told them I was Celiac. The breakfast spread was excellent. The room was clean with a balcony and wonderful view of the lake. Across the street there was a nice walkway along the lake in both directions joining the towns. It was very close to Malcesine and other local attractions. We liked it here and would definitely stay again if we return to Lake Garda.

Right from the start the staff made us feel right at home - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The facilities were great- especially the pool which was great to cool - off in. There were plenty of deck chairs to lie on both at the hotel and over the road at the private beech on the lakes edge. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. We have been in Europe for 6 weeks now and this by far the best place to stay both for staff and facilities.

wifi was paid and I had problem to start browsing internet [both my windows phone and laptop]. Everytime I had to restart their router. Fortunatelly was not password secured. Obviously it was just me, other guests had no issues.
The breakfast was good.

Great location

Pros: Location
The views were amazing
Cons: Updating the facilities.
Location: Castaletto is a 10 minute walk where you can get buses around the lake or the ferry.
Lake is literally a minutes walk from your room, lovely views!
We arrived at the hotel and was shown to our room. It stank of damp and so was offered to upgrade to a room with a balcony for an extra E40. This was a bit annoying the fact it was the only option! Anyhow we upgraded and we were so glad because this had a balcony which was brilliant considering there isn't any air-conditioning!!!!
The hotel staff are okay, don't speak lots of english which can be difficult.
The hotel is old an does need a revamp. The swimming pool is really small! Not as shown in the pictures. Also the pool seems to be falling apart, tiles missing etc.
Apart from this, it was pleasant to stay and very handy with the location.
HOWEVER! For the price you really couldn't complain. Just not somewhere you want to go if you're going to be spending a lot of time at the hotel.

Dear Billy!
thank you for your feedback.
its a pity that you dont explain in the right way your experience. you booked the smallest room at the tent price... you cant buy a ferrari and pay like a Fiat 500 ;-) you get what you paid. we invited you to read all the conditions before book a room next time. The pool is ca 110 sqm, not so small as you think... greetings from the lake. rosmari Staff.

Good
Posted 6 Sep 2014 on HotelsThe hotel is very good. I had parking spot, and breakfast was sufficient and very good. The receptionist older and taller has been less kind, and disturbed by the fact that by your agency we got a lower price. The requested additional payment of 5€ / day for the air conditioning.
On the whole, his sojourn was fine.
