Previous stay in nonsmoking room was great, however apparently the smoking rooms get no love. The heater didn’t work and the room was in poor condition with roaches on walls. The staff is nice.

My wife and I have stayed here multiple times driving up from Houston. The rooms have always be clean and it’s nice and quiet.

I booked a room with a kitchenette but when checking in I was told it was already taken. So I was getting a room with a deluxe king bed. I liked that it was a first floor and I could park in the courtyard side rather than facing a major thoroughfare. The property is aged and needs some deep cleaning and updating. The coffee package was already open when I got in the room, so I never used it. Shampoo was available but I never used it, judging its quality from the accompanying soap being not sudsy at all. I’m just glad I brought my own. Overall, great security. Quality of stay is not the most desirable but it was close to everything I needed, like a coffee shop and the purpose of my visit. Staff is professional and friendly.

I've stayed in better hotels

When I pulled up to the hotel it looked like a low-income apartment housing. Check in was ok, however when I got to my room the room was not cleaned at all-, I took pics of the room and went back to the front office. The person at the front desk apologized and moved me another room. The new room was a bit better. I went out for a couple hours and when I got back to my room and tried to turn on the heater and the heater did not work. I went back to the front desk and the front desk worker went to the room with me and also saw the heater was not working. He advised that they'll have maintenance come look at it the next day (no one came). I requested to have the manager contact me regarding issues to my room. Manager Alex called me, and I advised him of the issues, and he advised that they could move my room again. Communication with cleaning service and the front desk needs to improve

The room was not properly cleaned from the last tenant. There was unknown dried substances on all different parts of the room (including curtains). Stains on sheets. The bathroom was not cleaned either. We won’t be staying again.
