My wife and I have stayed here multiple times driving up from Houston. The rooms have always be clean and it’s nice and quiet.

The shower did not drain properly.

I booked a room with a kitchenette but when checking in I was told it was already taken. So I was getting a room with a deluxe king bed. I liked that it was a first floor and I could park in the courtyard side rather than facing a major thoroughfare. The property is aged and needs some deep cleaning and updating. The coffee package was already open when I got in the room, so I never used it. Shampoo was available but I never used it, judging its quality from the accompanying soap being not sudsy at all. I’m just glad I brought my own. Overall, great security. Quality of stay is not the most desirable but it was close to everything I needed, like a coffee shop and the purpose of my visit. Staff is professional and friendly.

For the price we stayed for two nights you would think the rooms would have been a little nicer. My first mistake was not noticing I booked a smoking room. To be honest I thought smoking was banned inside buildings a long time ago. There was only two rooms left at booking so I just booked it because we had to come back and get things out of our storage unit and unfortunately for us there was a lot of festivities going on in surrounding areas. We got to our room late on Friday night driving in from out of town and the room had two full beds said it would sleep 5 but really two adults barely fit in one bed together and we have 3 kiddos with us two being toddlers who I ended up sharing a bed with. The beds only had two pillows each which I find weird considering when you buy bed sheets for a full it would come with 4 pillow cases. I asked for extra pillows and they brought me one. Also noticed on the mirror said we were supposed to have 3 towels and any missing would be charged to our card which they only gave us two. The second day after washing my hair needed to used the blow drier which was also broken and maintenance did come and replace but at this point I was just upset because we don’t stay in hotels often outside of our show season which we book well in advance so staying in a much nicer hotel for less then what we paid last minute for this one. Maybe the non smoking rooms are nicer but I will definitely not be going back to this location.

the room was nice but too msny dust my sinus was acting up like crazy

Breakfast was a bust. Only a few cello-wrapped items, a banana and coffee. Old motel cheaply renovated. When we came in a worker hustled in to sweep up the dead crickets from the floor.
