Comfortable apartment near the beach. Self-check-in process was smooth but a bit unnerving to not have anyone there in case something went wrong. Not much close by other than the beach.

Good location!

The apartment is very well located. It is however a bit small and not in prime condition. For the price I was expecting a better maintained apartment.

Apartment was very clean and modern, have booked it for another week, only a short walk to beach. Very relaxing.

I enjoyed the stay here. I would certainly stay for a week or so. The location is great with plenty to do in the area. There is great transport links to all major cities. I will look at staying again.

Overall... Rubbish

Got to the door, code we were given did not work, tried for an hour and half. Rung up 5 times but could only leave a message even though it was only around 4pm. Sent emails with no response. Had to go to another hotel 50km away and they are trying to refuse refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Fantastic location

Pros: Clean,spacious, great location & everything you need for self catering.
Location: Great location, right on a beautiful beach & the town is lovely, unfortunately we didn't go to du panne which we were told is stunning
Brilliant place to stay & visit local areas, was told to visit du panne which unfortunately we didn't, was told this is a beautiful town. Ideal to visit Belgium as well. Would definitely recommend this place again to anyone.

Lovely place, would definately go back

We were very pleased with the apartment. Brand new and lots of space to live in for the couple of days. The decor is modern and furniture/equipment well looked after. Black out curtains and comfy beds meant a good night's sleep too. We arrived at 12.30 at night and easily gained access using the instructions emailed. Tourist area was quiet due to time of year but the natural surroundings were beautiful. Lovely beach with sand dunes and interesting dune/grass and wildflower reserve just minutes away by foot. We walked for 20 minutes along the beach and were in Belguim. This apartment is a short drive from Dunkerque so ideal for short breaks where time is of the essence. It was around a 40 min drive to Bruge. We were given the price of £140 for 2 nights, but after add ons such as cleaning fee and sheets hire it was £210 so please do read the small print.

We listened to the complaints and changed our pricing so that the mandatory costs (i.e. ‘end cleaning’) are now included in total displayed on Expedia. This should make our pricing a lot more transparent for our customers and will avoid unwanted surprises like this in the future. We do hope that we may welcome you again in the future.
