Love this property and can’t wait to stay again. Only downside for us is the bar area, it doesn’t fit the hotel.

Wonderful property. Book the 2 level Romantic Suite and enjoy the gas fireplace. Just a few steps from the main square.

Lovely hotel in fantastic convenient location for the old town attractions. Comfortable bed and good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Easy walking distance to the old town square.
However our room (number 3) was incredibly hot (in December!) and windows opened onto an internal corridor so it was impossible to cook it down. This is presumably a known problem as there was a large portable fan in the room that helped a tiny bit but mostly just blew the hot air around. I complained to reception but was told there was nothing they could do and there was no management in the hotel over the weekend.
This really detracted from our stay in what is otherwise a lovely hotel.

Regarding the room temperature, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced. You booked a room with windows facing the inner courtyard, which unfortunately doesn’t allow for much airflow. Our hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but rather a central heating and cooling system, and during December, we are in the heating season, which is why the room was warm. We understand this affected your stay and we're sorry we couldn’t resolve it during your visit. As the hotel was fully booked over the weekend, we couldn’t offer a room change, but for future stays, we recommend booking a room with windows facing the outside (available in our Deluxe category and higher), which can provide better ventilation. We also provide portable fans to help cool the rooms, though we understand this may not have been fully effective.We hope to welcome you back and provide a more comfortable experience next time.Best regards, Your Arcadia Team

Comfortable, most gracious reception desk, excellent breakfast, easy to walk to highlights of Bratislava. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I definitely will return in the future.

Everything about the Arcadia was lovely. The building, the staff, the rooms, the location, the breakfast. If I ever go back to Bratislava, this is the only place I would consider staying.

I booked this hotel by mistake due to its name is duplicate of a Venice Italy hotel. Its greedy customer service refused to return the fund. In comparison, I had to to cancel a hotel in Italy due to train strike and that hotel gracefully refunded all my payment. See the difference in customer service.
