Pros: Location and price.
The B&B is centrally located, we had a double room which was big enough. The staff were very nice and polite. There is no breakfast available which is not much of an issue being so close to all the restaurants and shops. The rooms have no air-con but we felt the location was safe enough to leave the windows open during the night.

Great central facility in an old building.
Posted 5 Jul 2018 on HotelsExcellent location, especially if you are using public transportation or a shuttle to/from the airport. It is located in the middle of old downtown where all the action is. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It may not feel like a four star hotel but it is definitely a great value.

Posted 9 Sep 2017 on HotelsI arrived quite early, and was advised that I would have to wait for my room to be ready - no problem. Staff informed me that I could leave my suitcase in the lobby while I walked around the city. I did so for about an hour, and then walked by noticing that they leave the door wide open while panhandlers are walking around. The receptionist is also the housekeeper, so the lobby was unattended. It would have been very easy to have my luggage stolen - which I found concerning. After this, I wound up just sitting around in the lobby to wait for my room to be ready, as I was too concerned with leaving my luggage unattended.
The location was convenient - walking distance to the downtown area. The rooms was clean and functional.
Although there was a wireless internet router right outside my room, I couldn't connect to wifi from my room - I had to sit in the lobby. I felt a bit uncomfortable, because the receptionist had her boyfriend visiting her in the lobby, and she clearly didn't want me there while they were spending time together.

Sorry about your concerns but the main door is always locked unless somebody forgot to close it, a bell rings anytime someone gets in or out our small pension and the receptionist verifies and moreover, there are surveillance cameras on hallways, stairs and reception. Your baggage was safe all the time.
Also the "boyfriend" was another guest... Don't know how you concluded that he was a boyfriend as all discussions with him was not lover's talk...

Really friendly, lovely room

Pros: amazing value, right in the centre of the town - about 3 minute walk from the square.
Location: Go up Tampa! And don't be a wuss and take the cable care.
Only concern would be that wifi didn't seem to connect - however, staff were amazing, good to be able to leave bags there earlier in the day before checking in later on.

Posted 13 Jun 2017 on HotelsThe only problem was the bed. We woke up with very bad back pain every morning. Just as a suggestion, another thing is that I think it will be useful for tourists to know that the pension do not have balconies or other places to smoke. Anyway, the place is great and it was a great deal :)
