The owners were Absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Offered a packed lunch which was delicious and very helpful to our journey along Hadrian's Wall. Booked a reservation for our dinner in town. The room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you could want. Highly recommend this property!!! Breakfast was also to order at your requested time!!

What a gorgeous place and a lovely welcome from Jackie. The room is a great size with all the amenities in the kitchen. The whole place was well looked after; it was like brand new. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The food in the morning, which was brought up by Jackie was excellent. An array of fruit in the fruit salad, delicious honey and yogurt. The hot breakfast was cooked to perfection and not greasy. We were given some great tips for our walk along Hadrians wall. We highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay for B&B of self catering
Posted 15 Sep 2021 on HotelsWhat a great place to stay, we were in the annex which is a self-contained flat above the garage. It included a lounge area with chairs and a limited SKY TV package (on a good size TV) plus a kitchen area with fridge making it a great place to stay and self-cater. However we were B&B and the breakfast was exceptional by far the best for quality and quantity for any previous B&B we have stayed in. Our host Jackie could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. As we were walking the Hadrians Wall trail they even took delivery/passed on our baggage from the baggage transfer company.The large walk in shower was also a bonus. We would definitely stay here again if in this area.

Spacious accommodation

The perfect self contained studio
Posted 2 May 2021 on HotelsMore than perfect! Super comfy beds, a powerful hot shower, use of washing machine and dryer and an amazing choice for breakfast both hot and cold.
Could not fault at all. And will definitely stay again when we return to walk the wall next time

This was the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The owner literally cannot do enough for you. Too late for dinner - I’ll sort it. Hand sliced open? Here’s a medical kit. And on top of all that - a beautiful, modern little flat with all the mod cons you might want - including a washing machine and tumble dryer. An excellent establishment!
