We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Brae Hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast options were good and the one dinnercwe ate there was excellent. Well located forca day travelling to the islands of Yell & Unst.

Posted 28 Jun 2024 on HotelsThis is a nice wee hotel in Brae. My room on the ground floor had a somewhat more utilitarian feel to it than previous stays on the upper floor, however friendly staff and good food. Given hotel prices in Lerwick just now it represents value for money.

The reception staff was very helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The restaurant and bar were exceptional. Dinner options had a few changes each evening. Book early because bus services like this location. Our room was very nice with a view of the water. Breakfast was great and quick. Check out was easy.

Comfortable friendly stay
Posted 21 Jun 2024 on HotelsCharming friendly staff, nice hot full Scottish breakfast included. Easy to find and easy parking. Option of dinner - sadly this is usually for hotel guests only, but they accommodate when they can. We enjoyed one dinner there and it was wonderful. I had the poached salmon and my spouse had steak pie, both delicious. The room was small but spotless, and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!
