Great Ashley Farm Reviews

Hi Lyne, I am staggered that you have been able to write a 'post stay review' when you have never stayed with us and therefore not eligible to write any reveiw. Your 1/5 score is totally unfounded. Sadly, your grievance is with Expedia and not Great Ashley Farm. We did receive a booking for you through Expedia reference no. 1886265491 late Thursday evening for arrival on Friday. Within minutes a notification was received from Expedias Transaction Processing Department to 'URGENTLY CANCEL' your booking reference no. 1886265491 which I did. They advised that the booking had been cancelled their end. (Cancellations are common place especially at the moment) Expedia requested that we kindly waived our cancellation charge, which we did. At this stage we were within our rights to charge. No further reservations were received in your name through any booking platform. I was completely taken a back when you arrived on my doorstep at 7pm on Friday evening . I had in the meantime booked the room out so actually expected the other guests. I was not rude, I politely explained the whole situation several times & you did become quite aggressive. I gave two possible alternatives for accommodation, the Swan Hotel, Bradford-on-Avon being the best option from an availablity and accessibilty point of view. I also suggested the Leigh Park Hotel. This matter really needs to be taken up with Expedia they gave instruction via email to 'urgently' cancel your booking. We are very sorry that this has happened but have most certainly not received any payments.
