Visit the Bowery Ballroom website, book tickets online and then prepare for a fun, music-filled night out at this impressive venue. With a theater-style stage and three intimate levels of seating and standing space, there is the chance to get quite close to the performers. When world-famous band REM performed an invitation-only concert to promote their album Up, they chose the the Bowery Ballroom for the special ambiance it offers.

The Bowery Ballroom has managed to put itself on the world music map since it opened its doors in 1998. The venue is located in the trendy Lower East Side and has been many things in its life, including a vaudeville hall and even a shoe store. Today comfortable lounges line the three floors, with a bar conveniently located on each. Relax with a drink in hand and watch the artists perform. Experience excellent acoustics and great views from almost anywhere in the venue.

Join the crowd of up to around 500 people in the main room as they dance and sing along to artists such as The Shins, Stephen Malkmus and Patti Smith. The Bowery Ballroom plays host to a wide variety of musicians and you will find big names here alongside those on the rise. See performers from abroad as well as homegrown artists.

The Bowery Ballroom is located on Delancey Street, in between Bowery and Chrystie streets. It is open from 7 p.m. until the small hours, but starting times for concerts vary. Note that ticket prices can vary greatly depending on who is playing. Travel to the venue by subway, bus or cab.
