As part of the city’s green trilogy, Bournemouth Lower Gardens is a scenic park area with a Victorian design. It was known as Invalids’ Walk in the Victoria era, because people believed the trees’ scent cured chest diseases. Discover the large rock garden, which dates back to the 1930s and has multiple levels of creative plantings of international species.
Take pictures of the park’s Victorian elements, such as the Pine Walk Bandstand. The park hosts many events and concerts and also offers hot air balloon rides in the Bournemouth Balloon.
