Stayed one night for a concert (BIC). It worked well. Good sized single room. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants & BIC. Reasonable price.

When we arrived the hotel looks quite grand from outside. It’s a bit jaded in places, needs upgrading and refurbishing really. Our room was a superior room but was dirty, hairs all over the floor and carpet, food crumbs etc which was very of putting. Told staff and they would have moved us to another room but we had a tight schedule and was going out. On our return there was no staff around so we stayed in the room we had been given.
Breakfast was adequate. Would not book again as there are far better hotels local for the same money. Room wasn’t cheap but the feel was.
No gym, tiny swimming pool. Sorry wanted this to be a hidden gem but overall disappointed

This hotel proves that if it's not broke, don't fix it. The facilities look old at first glance, but everything is operational and clean. The bathrooms are stunningly clean and renovated. The pool facilities are exceptional - which also includes a hot tub - and you're provided with towels. The only fault on this hotel is the early check out time of 10am.

Second time staying at the Norfolk. Great service and superb staff.
Modernising the interiors and rooms is much needed. Electricity sockets placed in inconvenient locations and no usb power points.
The loss of parking is a real shame.

A character hotel, all the staff were helpful but due to the age of the hotel the floorboards throughout were extremely creaky. We had to leave very early morning and found it difficult to creep around quietly. Would have been nice to have had bottled water in the bedrooms, some herbal or decaff teas.

Good, friendly staff, good bar and restaurant area. The room was small, looked tired and the bed width was under 4ft. Not good for 2 people of average build
