Need to go to hotel next door to have the swimming and gyms

Convenient enough wth spacious room. Property is in need of modernisation, not good value for oney. Great staff though.

I only stayed for about an hour before checking back out again. Hotel didn’t think it necessary to let a single woman staying alone know that there was a big wedding at the venue. The noise was ridiculous and had I even wanted to eat in the restaurant, I wouldn’t have been able to as it was full of rowdy wedding guests at the bar. My room backed onto the bar and was next to the ladies cloakroom. When I approached reception to ask why I wasn’t made aware of this, I was greeted with a very rude man who just pointed to a sign in the foyer warning people there would be noise that night. Not sure how I was meant to read that before my arrival, but hey ho. He was so rude that I walked out in tears and had to check into another hotel. The whole experience was horrendous. The numerous wedding guests also made it impossible to park in the hotel car park so I had to pay extra for parking (which was also wasted as I left).

Shocking

Hotel is extremely old and in need of maintenance. We were on fourth floor, water pressure was extremely low for shower. No air conditioning and extremely hot in room. Room doesn’t have any fridge also. Carpets dirty and old. We found thick hair all over, toilet was dirty. Lift was extremely old and slow. Window is crushed still no double glazed window… overall shocking for a UK hotel. Maybe you could call it motel.

Bournemouth great location reasonable price

Excellent location on beach. Dinner service surprisingly nice. Room good, en suite very tired, but clean. Hubby couldn’t stand up in shower/bath combo as ceiling so low. Leaky window to front - reported it on check out and hotel seemed keen to get that fixed asap. Hotel had parking but had to pay hotel extra £12 for it. thought that was a bit cheeky when you could park on street easily and pay/display same amount. Fine for couple nights.
