we booked last minute as we néded a hotel in Bournemouth and were parked just along the road. the view from the bar, lounge out to the sea view was one of the positives of our short stay. we were offered a room on the quiet side of the hotel due to there being a wedding reception being held that evening. it was explained that this was however a non refurbished room. we found the room clean and likeable, however it was warm, with no controls.as the radiators were turned off and cold, yeah go figure. thankfully there was a fan in the room that helped. staff were great and we'd book again if we were visited another time.

Very nice hotel is a great location which is accessible to anywhere you would want to go. Pleasantly surprised about how good the hotel was and all the amenities. Hotel staff were absolutely great, especially front desk very welcoming!. Would definitely stay again for next Bournemouth visits, bit of a classic British hotel feel.

The room was very clean, staff was friendly and particularly liked the close proximity to the beach.

I expected more for a four star hotel. The house is an old building, I heard every step from outside, but the room was renovated, it is beautiful inside. There is a little dust inside the room. I hope the room is cleaner. Other than that everything is great. The breach is nearby. It is great to stay here in summer time.

Food poor, not up to standard. TV tiny, old-fashioned, very limited choice of channels. Bathroom shower badly designed. This was for a wet room. Taking a shower made half the bathroom floor wet. Porterage unhelpful. I've loved the Miramar for many years. I wouldn't recommend it now and will not be returning.
