Easy parking, nice staff and reception. Room Hilton standard. Breakfast was very limited and poor for a 'Hilton' Breakfast as expected. I was let down, having stayed here a few years ago, it had declined. The Level8 bar again looks nothing like the promotional videos and photos, it felt unloved, basic and not inviting at all, despite the very expensive cocktails at £13.50 each, I would expect a more luxurious bar and seating area. There is also no bar food served. Downstairs there is a small bar and main restaurant with very limited and expensive vegetarian options so I didn't bother and ordered uber eats. Overall it was ok, room was very clean but I just felt like this Hilton had become an elevated premier inn. Which is really sad. Ill save up a bit more next time and stay at true 4*5* hotel.

2 night stay, room wasn't made up despite our request. just made the bed, but didn't service bathroom, loo paper, etc or replenish milk/tea.

Severely understaffed. Breakfast was poor - poor quality sausage, bacon and eggs. Bread wasn't fresh on second morning. ID for lift to room one night as room was on same level as bar. Poor selection of drink on ground floor bar.

The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants, the pier and beach.

Walking distance to the beach and right in the heart of city centre. Alot of amenities nearby.

Stayed on 5th floor - king room. Back of desk chair was broken - replaced promptly. Shower head was loose - also fixed quickly. Cleaning staff should look out for faulty items in room and work with maintenance team to resolve before guests notice. Tasty breakfast, but fruit not fresh enough. Coffee from machine very bitter. Large free to use gym with modern equipment - well done! Only aircon too cold (temp 13.5) and music super loud. Fantastic indoor swimming pool - special lane for swimmers. Parking is in building next door. Parking should be free, as rooms are rather pricy. Reception staff should be much clearer with parking instructions. Tip - give your reg no. to receptionist when checking in. Room cleaned daily - fairly good standard. Towels regularly changed. Restaurant tables not cleaned very well. Backs of some chairs dirty. External restaurant windows needed cleaning. Restaurant staff uniforms should also always be clean & presentable! Restaurant staff should generally smile more, be friendlier and not look so sad & miserable at times. There was an exception - a young man name Kian Cross had incredibly good customer service. He was friendly, helpful, dressed smartly, was well presented and spoke very well. The Hilton should certainly look after staff of such calibre. If truth be told, we felt that with the name & reputation of the Hilton, the hotel is not displaying 4 star quality. Perhaps it's 3.5 star right now. All in all, however, it was a good stay.
