Richard and Allison were great. Very friendly snd helpful carried our cases to the room. The housekeeper Gee was fabulous, kept our room clean every day and if we needed any extra tea and suger she was obliging. Always happy and very friendly. The dining area was grubby and worse for wear. Breakfast was pore hardly had any choice not even having fresh fruit. Didn't like the idea that you had to use the communal pot of jam and marmalade. Not hygienic. I ordered eggs on toast only to be told to get my own toast by the waiter.

One night stay.
Posted 23 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe two members of staff we met were very helpful. The hotel appeared quite run down and our bathroom door did not shut. However, we were offered another room promptly . Unaware that no restaurant on a Monday or Tuesday. Breakfast disappointing - as limited choice.
Apparently the hotel was waiting for delivery. One couple told there was only one egg left . It was obvious that the hotel is in the process of closing down. We should have been advised of limited options. Probably would have booked elsewhere.

there were two of you, you booked a standard double, you wanted to move because you should of booked a twin. It was a monday morning and we were waiting on our delivery, mainly of avocados and eggs, the rest of the breakfast menu was on. The hotel is not RUN DOWN by any stretch of the imagination. Monday evening i cooked for 14 guests and the bar had people in til 10pm, the restaurant was also open tuesday evening. The hotel is unfortunately closing but there certainly wasn't LIMITED OPTIONS the full restaurant menu was on and as i have previously mentioned apart from the very last room when we had one egg left and no avocado your review is false and misleading.

Good for an overnight stay

Lovely stay - great service
Posted 3 Aug 2023 on HotelsLovely stay- impeccably clean super service from the staff. Quick and tasty breakfast service. Really comfortable room.
No Nespresso machine or biscuits as advertised on website but did have kettle/tea/instant. Would still rate 5/5 due to service and comfort/cleanliness.

In morning breakfast area not prepared during hours specified. One morning was a mess as not cleaned from night before. Felt uncomfortable. Carpet and furnishing needs updating. Had to figure out how to turn on the shower due to a button in the living area. Had no one onsite to assist.
