Served a purpose!
Posted 8 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe passed through & didn't have breakfast. Basic all round - free parking across the main cross roads & bridge in port area though I only found out later after paying for a nearby Q Park in shopping centre. Have to check in if arriving later at hotel across road. Street level can be noisy. Room had 3 separate beds but wardrobe contained shelves rather than hanging rack. Tap dripping. Some decent places to eat near aquarium. Should only pay a basic price.

It was the cheapest hotel in Bolougne Sur Mer so went with the attitude that it was just a bed for the night. It was absolutely fine though - the room was very clean so nothing really to moan about in that sense. Our only gripe re the room was that it was very warm, there's no air-con and with the blackout blinds, it makes the opening of windows, pretty inefficient.
There was never any staff at the hotel though, had to check in over the road and despite being told that someone would be there in the morning to check us out, no one to be seen, so had to traipse over the road again.

You can’t expect more from a two star hotel. It looks a bit shabby from the outside but it is perfectly comfortable and spotless inside. Reception is in the hotel opposite and the staff there are very friendly and professional. We certainly will use this hotel again.

Once a pleasant family-run hotel this now appears to be no more than an annex to the Bar Hamiot across the road (where you have to check in and out). Our room was small and sparsely furnished. The shower needed some attention and there were only 2 coat hangers in the hanging space. Having said all that, the room was clean and warm and had recently been refurbished. The staff in the Bar Hamiot were friendly and welcoming and there is private underground parking (at a modest additional cost) just round the corner.

Great Weekend
Posted 1 Sep 2018 on HotelsGreat position in the town, offered a good car parking facility and the food in their restaurant offered a very good selection of meals.
