"This property was unacceptable. I have been waiting since Monday for a response regarding this dirty, dark, problematic property. The staff told us 1/2 out of air-conditioning systems worked in our 2-bedroom apartment, when in reality, the A/C didn't work in the entire building. Then, another employee said, actually no A/C at all. Ceiling tiles falling out, non-functioning shower fixture. I will never use Expediat again until this situation is rectified and I am refunded for both rooms."

"Lovely hotel with clean comfortable beds and great customer service. Nice buffet with hot and cold offerings. Bathroom was a good size with heated towel bar that worked perfectly to provide warm towels."

"Excellent service at the check in by Anthony who was professional, very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the property. We absolutely love the room, lots of space and quiet. The restaurant on site Les téléphones was gorgeous regarding the service by Lisa and Thibault and the food too. We enjoyed our stay with all of you. We definitely appreciate the excellent service at your hotel in different departments. Thank you to provide this level of service in this charming and historic place. "

Superb boutique hotel in a great location

"A fabulous small boutique hotel in a great central location for visiting major sights in Lyon. Hotel was clean , welcoming and tasteful . It is an " on demand " hotel as the staff put it so if you want water or kettle you have to request them and go and get them from reception. No frills or extras in the room , no slippers , dressing gown or fridge nor did we have a mirror in the room only one head and shoulders standard mirror in the bathroom which was a minor irritation. Room was large, with comfortable beds . We had 2 singles as I was travelling with my daughter. We had a great view of the river and full length windows that opened fully which was a bonus, made the room light and airy . I can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it, plenty of boulangerie within 2 minutes walk. If you want authentic restaurants keep away from The old town as it is very touristy and not representative of the fabulous restaurants available in Lyon All in all a great hotel for a short break . Request a river view it's definitely worth the extra cost . I will most certainly stay here again on my next visit as I have a daughter in Lyon for a year."
