I recently stayed at The Langham, Boston, and had an overall wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully appointed, exuding luxury and elegance from the moment you step inside. My room was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully decorated with a refined aesthetic that made it feel warm and inviting. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel.
The bathroom was also very nice, though I did have some challenges with the shower. It lacked a shower curtain or enclosure, which made it somewhat tricky to use without splashing water everywhere. Although I initially wondered if it was a handicap-accessible design, the fact that I had to step over the tub suggests otherwise. The showerhead was not fixed and was detachable, which added to the difficulty (it would not stay straight!).
One other hiccup during my stay was due to a booking oversight on my part. I booked through Expedia, only to later discover there was a direct room rate available at about one-third of what I paid through Expedia. Unfortunately, I was unable to renegotiate to the lower rate, which was disappointing but ultimately my own error.
Despite these minor setbacks, The Langham is a fantastic property that I would happily recommend. Its exceptional comfort and stunning design truly stand out, though I’d advise others to double-check booking rates before finalizing their reservations.

I liked the location for walking to take the kids to ice skating, the aquarium, movie, and certain restaurants. I was surprised that many restaurants in the area were closed on the weekends--I heard that is because the hotel is in the financial district. I ordered room service for the kids, and they enjoyed the food (they are very picky so that's a compliment). The indoor pool was really nice for the kids. The room was nice and clean, a bit smaller than it looked in the picture, but overall nice and comfortable. The housekeeping was very good. The Manager, Elizabeth, was extremely thoughtful and helpful, which made our 5-day stay wonderful.

During my stay, I lost my cell phone upon inquiry with the staff not knowing if I lost it on the property. They were so polite, thorough and understanding they called me two days later to let me know that they were unsuccessful in finding it, though that they were still going to keep track, should one turn up
Only to realize that in fact, the phone was lost at a restaurant in the Boston area we went to
It was so impressive that someone in their staff would be so diligent and follow up some two days later to tell us that they were still on the alert for a found phone on the property at the Langham
To me that was very impressive. The accommodations the facility service excellent one word excellent
