Centered delightfully in the pedestrian shopping area is this beautiful hotel! Great staff...front desk, housekeeping, cooks, everyone! Do not bring a vehicle..we will definitely use this hotel again!

Perfect location right on Essex Street. Front desk staff were always very friendly. Room 301 was super spacious.

Kaleigh greeted us with the kindest energy I've ever received at a hotel. She was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had the pleasure of talking to Zach in the morning and he was delightful. Everyone at the hotel was so nice.
The hotel was funky, clean and SO centrally located! The beds were super comfortable and there was a fantastic amount of towels!
Its my favorite Salem Hotel!

We were in a super small room and they have one way Ac/heat. Being from Florida not knowing we got hot and turned down the AC but that only pushed more heat in the room. 73 degrees all night.

For our first visit to Salem I was ecstatic over location of this hotel, literally in the middle of downtown Salem! You walk out the front entrance and you are just walking distance from shopping, dining, museums, exhibits, you name it, it’s right there! There is no onsite parking so you have to utilize a parking garage, which again is only 2-3 minutes away from the hotel! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Salem! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable as well! We had a great time and when we go back, because we will I will be staying right at the Hotel Salem!

Hotel Salem is a charm, location is perfect. I thought that the place would be loud at night time becuase the restaurant but it was not, at all. I will choose this hotel again.

What a find! The desk clerk were very helpful during check-in. The accommodations were far above what we expected. - modern and sleek. We'll be bak again.
