We absolutely loved our 2 day stay here last year. Walking distance to Fenway and eateries. Beds were comfortable. It's an older style hotel. Only downside was the parking. There is not a ton of parking and if you are lucky enough to get into the garage, it's a tight fit to park. Can't wait to return.

Quaint
Posted 10 Mar 2020 on HotelsThe front desk was friendly and efficient. the room was small but sufficient. The water in the shower got very hot which is always a nice bonus. Nice breakfast place next door (actually attached thru the main lobby). Free WiFi is available as well. We only spent one night here but for the price it was well worth it

The Buckminster is a pretty old property and not particularly fancy, but it was very clean and quiet. For the price, I was surprised. For a basic, affordable hotel in Boston, I'd recommend it.
