A very modern, clean, attractive new-build. The room was a bit on the small side but very attractive and had 10-foot ceilings. Bed was very good, TV was large enough to see easily (many hotels have TVs that are too small). The bathroom was large and very attractive, but the door to the bathroom was a "barn door", not a traditional door so the seal was not good and bathroom sounds could be heard in the main room. No microwave in the room. The "parking" that the hotel offers is only valet parking at over $30 and street parking is almost impossible.

Plenty of places to eat around. T station super close. love Cafe Nero and it has one next to it. Love the coffee there.

Really lovely hotel. Everything looks fresh and welcoming. Staff are lovely. The scent and the music are shared with guests throughout the hotel (room floors and lobby) which just made it so relaxing.

No resturants of note close by . Evening staff not informed regarding places to go close by . Nice clean functional boutique hotel

I stayed at 1868 a year ago and it was great. I returned and it was still a great hotel

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms are small, but super smart with storage. We had two rooms reserved. My husband and I were at the end of the hall, which was a room on the side of the hotel facing a side street and the main street. My sister had a room that was on the backside of the hotel facing parking. We had a lot of street noise from our room. We could hear cars and the crosswalk alert. With that said, there wasn’t a lot of movement late at night, so the noise was minimal, but expect to hear a lot in the morning. My sister didn’t hear any major noises from her room during any part of the day. The beds were comfy. I loved the location. You could walk to Harvard or hop on the Redline subway, which was across the street, to take you inside downtown Boston. It’s about a twenty minute drive from the airport.
