Not very close to airport
Posted 27 Mar 2018
Pros: The restaurant, the shower, the heater and the many tv channels.
Cons: Yes, I requested the previous night a cab to be at the hotel at 4:30 a.m. and it was 4:45 before the taxi was there.
Location: N/A
Expedia agent told me that the hotel was 1/2 mile from the airport which is a lie. The hotel was more than three miles from the airport and cost me $40.00 euros round trip. It was not very good information.
According to my experience in the past, Expedia always send me to very far away hotel/condo accommodations. My experience when went to Munich, Germany last year, the hotel was outside of Munich...... The agent told me that he did not know where the center of Munich was.......
I think you should inform your agents better. They are very polite but don't know much about the distance where the hotels are from airports to center of the city.

A perfect place to stop overnight - UK to Spain
Posted 18 Jul 2016 on HotelsWe stayed here on our drive down from the UK to Benidorm, Spain. We had wanted to take a different route this time, by travelling down the West coast of France. This hotel is on the main ring road around Bordeaux and about halfway on our trip. So it made a great place to make an overnight stop.
We arrived mid afternoon, so had plenty of time to sit out on the terrace and enjoy a few glasses of wine. In the evening we had dinner in the restaurant, overlooking the pool, which was very pleasant.
The rooms are like USA style motel chalets, set in blocks about the grounds, with plenty of parking spaces next to the rooms. The rooms themselves are getting a little tired and dated, but were still clean and comfortable, with good TV and air-con.
As a budget hotel, this made the perfect place to stop overnight on our way to Spain.

Room was small but clean. Checkin and checkout very efficient. Plenty of parking. Staff very pleasant and made a big effort to help and communicate.

Very good, comfortable place to stay.

Pros: I liked it's motel layout, and peaceful grounds. My room did not faced a garden . The restaurant was also very good and not very expensive.
Cons: It is far from downtown Bordeaux.
Location: There are some shops in nearby Merignac, but nothing of note other than a post office and some food shops. And they are not exactly close.
I arrived there from the airport, after a long two day journey with a layover in Lisbon. I just wanted a peaceful place to crash when prices in Bordeaux were very high because of a Euro Soccer game that happened to be in town.
The room was clean and faced a rear garden, which was nice. There was also a very good "menu du jour" for $20 at the restaurant, which was great. It was a fine place to stay for a night before taking the M01 bus downtown.

Terrible mattress
Posted 14 Jun 2016 on Hotelsstaff were helpful and the breakfast was fine but the mattress was so terrible I barely slept. There was only 1 towel for 2 of us so we had to reuse the 1 towel! We also booked the hotel as it had a pool but the pool was closed and was totally run down. The chalet style rooms had very little sound proofing and i was also woken by people returning to their rooms arguing and swearing. We told reception and said we were checking out due to this and they did refund the cost of breakfast but not the cost of the second night as we had booked on the Internet on hotels.com

Excellent restaurant easy autoroute access
Posted 12 Sep 2015A Motel, not a Hotel. Positives: V cheap, easy access for transit through Bordeaux, surpringly good part open air under cover with outside grill and good bar restaurant, although service a little slow, our tiny double room was freshly decorated and the cleaning staff were meticulous and friendly. TV, parking outside front door, wi fi in restaurant area, parking outside front door. Negatives: Room 22 had an off putting and smelly brown carpet that we didn't want to walk on in bare feet or put luggage on. Otherwise this review would be 4 stars.
