Our "suite" had a very odd layout, long narrow, not gracious. We had an interior courtyard view, which was no view at all. The heat did not work properly and we were often cold in the room. Management brought in two ugly portable heaters which did not help. Would never stay here again, nor would I recommend the hotel

The room had a very strong off putting perfume smell, possibly room spray. We had to open the window to air out the room. It was so strong, we had to leave the window open, We had to ask several times for facial tissue for our bathroom. They would agree to send some, but didn’t follow through. In the early evening we asked the front desk for water for our room, and they advised that everything was closed and that they were unable to do so. We went out and purchased water at a nearby store. Bordeaux was beautiful, but we were underwhelmed by the hotel’s customer care. The lower rating for “around the property” was due to construction.

The shower/tub is very difficult to get in and out of.

This stunning property did not disappoint! The customer service exceeded all expectations, the breakfast was stellar, and the guest room was gorgeous. I will definitely be back.

Very small and old rooms and bathrooms.
Very small windows and dark rooms.
Lighting is poor and complicated to turn on.
Breakfast choices do not reflect the value of property and 5 stars rating.
