PROS: Quiet area. The hotel is at the far side of station 1 which is away from the noise and crowd of station 2. It gives you a sense of solace when swimming due to minimal crowds. The walk to station 2 by the beach is ~15 mins (or you can use an etrike for quick convenience). Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They kept all areas clean round-the-clock and amenities well stocked. Their airport pick-up and drop off is a HUGE stress reliever.
CON: After riding the van from the airport to the check in area, just prior to the boat to boracay, we were told to sit and asked for our IDs. After a few mins, it was time to ride the boat, or so I thought. The boat left without me but they took my bagagge. When the tourists before and after me have left the premises and I was alone, I sensed something was wrong. I asked around and asked how long the wait is and they said 5mins. Then I heard one staff exclaim a shocked expression before approaching me. He claimed he called me for the boat ride which was a LIE since I’ve been sitting in the same chair. Considering the check in area is small, I would’ve heard it. Plus, I heard them when they asked for my ID, why would I not hear him for the boat ride? I don’t want to stay forever at the check in area, let alone be separated from my luggage. As patient as I was since mistakes happen, he kept insisting that he did call me which increased my irritability (the jetlag and lack of sleep did not help). Thankfully my bag was secure.

This resort is beautiful! Not only is it beautiful but the staff is what makes the place enjoyable. Everyone is welcoming and we had a great time. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall experience was fantastic! My only complain is PLEASE INSTALL a ceiling fan in the lobby as it got so hot for us while we were checking it. A couple other guests agreed with me too when I mentioned it.

Bathroom layout is poorly planned. No free shuttle service to other hotels. Far from other hotels.

Disappointing: No Refund After Natural Disaster
Posted 27 Jul 2024 on HotelsMy airline canceled my trip due to Typhoon Carina, so we couldn’t make it to our reservation. We returned to the USA feeling very frustrated by the ruined trip. The hotel won’t refund our unused reservation and is only offering a rebooking option in two months, even after I explained that we live in the US and have no plans to return to the Philippines due to our negative experience. To make matters worse, The Lind Boracay seems indifferent to our situation. While I understand that hotels typically don’t refund canceled bookings, a natural disaster seems like a valid exception. I recommend considering Crimson Boracay instead; I've heard they provide excellent service. The Lind seems like a poor choice.
