Disappointing stay

Posted 31 Oct 2013
Pros: - Only good thing is that it is away from the populated beach area for quieter stay, but definitely more mosquitos as rooms have leaks for their entry
Cons: - Owner should pay a bit more at least to give staff more incentive to keep the place clean and livable... Staff only happier when you give them tips
Location: - All better and cleaner food (if you care about hygiene) are in Station 2 & 3, and not close to this hotel (Station 1) so you end up go to Station 3
- The beach was relatively nice but the Hotel was so disappointing: > bed sheet, bath towels, pillow case, etc. so old and wore and yellowish, not seem to have washed properly. > Wash room sink clogged up and not fixed, lights failing... > Room not cleaned up properly, everythig old and wore... > Reason may be that the staff are getting less than 300 pesos (minimum salary) per day and they don't have incentive to keep the hotel in good condition; it is just not worth the effort ... but we customers pay $60 per night would expect to get full hotel service ... it is sad, but the owner doesn't care that much about improving the conditions as they make just as much money either way ... > I paid $60 (including all fees) per day to live in a 1 star hotel ( should be called an Inn, not hotel) which is absolutely disappointing ...

this hotel ruin expedia standard

Posted 14 Jun 2013
Pros: hotel is quiet because no other guest
Cons: restaurant food and very bad service
Location: quiet because away from the other hotel
the hotel has only one place to eat and the food and service is so bad but the price is so expensive, their sunset room is too small for 4 person, there's no towel and bed sheets smells and old, bed is old and not comfy anymore. one of the room air condition is not working. I've been using expedia to all my travel needs and this hotel is the worst.

good location if you want serenity

i like it because i really don't want to be near those crowded and noisy stations. i also enjoyed the view of the nearby hotels on top of the mountains.so peaceful that you can even sleep while watching the sunset.

For a low Budget hotel it´s ok.

Posted 20 Feb 2013
Pros: The service. The beach is excelent and it´s a quiet place.
Cons: Cleaness and food offered are not good. Contact information and pictures are not actual.
Location: It´s perfect to avoid crowds. The beach is wonderful.
For a low Budget hotel it´s ok. They have potential, but the hotel has not been kept in shape. The picking-up service between airport and hotel was excelent. Also the shuttle bus possibility to D´Mall every day. The food is not good and the restaurant is not clean. Cats all around - not good! My recomendation: Invest in having a good restaurant and open it to the beach. Focus on a special tipe of food that others around don´t offer. The location is excelent and the beach perfect for people that do not like the multitudes of crowded beaches.

The room is not even provided with basic furniture like side table. THere is no table to do some writing. The towels and bed linens are old.

Ok price for Boracay.

Posted 16 Jun 2012 on Hotels
When I first got there I was not happy with the room location or cleanliness. I had to make a fuss, and they upgraded me to the sunset room, only one problem is that the roof leaked when it rained. i quickly wanted to go somewhere else, but soon found out that I was paying a very good price compared to other places around Boracay. The food at the hotel was surprisingly good, and most of the staff were freindly and eager to make you happy. Problem is that this hotel is not being maintained as the owner has financial problems and is not putting the money back into the hotel. All in all Boracay is soo overated and too expensive for good value.

Don't bother

Posted 13 Jun 2012
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Awful location, awful breakfast, awful room
Location: Terrible location!
Major Problems:Located quite a ways from the main areas. They have a shuttle but it only runs at certain times and it is inconvenient. The breakfast was absolutely horrendous! The rooms were pretty basic and the beds were very uncomfortable (not to mention that the blanket is just a flat sheet...). The AC unit struggled to work anytime the sun was up so it was quite hot during the morning/day/afternoon. The room was moderately clean when we got there but there was no cleaning service at all. Pros: The staff were friendly and mostly helpful.

holiday horrors

Posted 27 May 2012
We took one look and then went along the beach and booked in somewhere else, we knew it would not be great as it was very cheap but we just couldn't stay there, they staff were lovely and we felt awful for them, but as I said we just couldn't stay there.
